Creative Wares was born when Angela and Matt merged two ventures: MomsandMes and ARB Creative Designs. But the story truly begins years earlier, with a simple 4-H project that sparked a lifelong passion for creativity.

Angela first launched ARBCreative Designs, a solo business that provided business-to-business support and life organization services. At the same time, MomsandMes grew out of the Brown family’s 4-H experiences. Started by Angela, Marisa, Jered, and Matthew, the business carried the name “Moms and Mes,” a title dreamed up by young Marisa. Though Marisa, Jered, and Matthew are no longer active, their contributions helped lay the foundation for what Creative Wares would become.

Today, Angela is the creative force behind Creative Wares and Things. A dedicated printmaker, she specializes in monotype printmaking and teaches a variety of printmaking techniques locally. Her expertise extends to both traditional Western marbling and Japanese Suminagashi water marbling, as well as gel plate and other monotype methods.

Through these techniques, Angela creates one-of-a-kind works of art on paper, fabric, glass, metal, wood, and leather. Each material requires a unique monotype approach, ensuring that no two creations are ever alike. Her work also extends into award-winning jewelry design, blending artistry and craftsmanship in every piece.

But Creative Wares is more than just a business—it’s a place to create, learn, and explore. By both producing original art and teaching others, Angela strives to help people discover and express their own creative voice.
